Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data SkyBeam collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It is our information notice under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In this policy, "SkyBeam", "we", "us" and "our" refer to this company.

2.Data we collect

We only collect the personal data you choose to give us and a limited amount of technical data needed to run the website.

Information request and contact forms

  • Name, company or organisation, email address and country
  • The frequency band or product you are interested in
  • The message you write about your application and requirements

Datasheet request form

  • Full name, company or organisation, business email address and country
  • Job title, if you choose to provide it
  • The document you requested, the date and time of the request and your consent choices

Emails and phone calls

If you contact us directly, we process your contact details and the content of your correspondence.

Technical data

When you visit the website, our hosting server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time of the request. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.), a privacy-friendly web analytics service that does not use cookies. It counts visits, the countries visitors come from and the pages they view. We see this only as aggregate statistics. It does not identify individual visitors or track them across other websites.

How we collect it

We collect personal data electronically: directly from you through the forms on this website, by email, by phone and at events such as trade shows and automatically through server logs when you visit the website.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (such as health data or political opinions). Please do not include them in your messages.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4.Who we share data with

Your data is accessed only by SkyBeam employees who need it to answer your request. We share it with third parties only where necessary:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as website hosting, web analytics and email service providers, under contracts that require them to protect it
  • Authorised sales representatives in your region, if you ask about products they handle
  • Public authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information
  • Legal and financial advisers, where needed to protect our rights

5.International transfers

Some of our service providers or sales representatives may be located outside Turkiye. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we do so in line with Article 9 of KVKK, for example on the basis of standard contractual clauses notified to the Personal Data Protection Authority, or with your explicit consent where required.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, transfers to Turkiye or other countries without an adequacy decision are made using appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or where the transfer is necessary to respond to your request.

6.How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete, destroy or anonymise it.

7.Cookies and similar technologies

Full details are in our Cookie Policy. In short, this website does not place cookies or use browser storage for visitors.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Visitor statistics are collected by a cookieless analytics service (see section 2). If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

You can delete stored data or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

8.Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose
  • know the third parties in Turkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
  • request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7 of KVKK
  • request that third parties who received your data are notified of any correction or deletion
  • object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis
  • claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing

If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under the GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

9.How to contact us

To exercise your rights, send us a written request including your name, contact details and a clear description of your request:

  • by email to info@skybeam.com.tr, from the email address you gave us
  • signed, in person or through a notary, to the address in section 1
  • signed with a secure electronic signature, by registered electronic mail (KEP) to skybeam@hs01.kep.tr

For general questions about this policy, you can simply email us. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. We will reply as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can apply to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
